Welcome to the full August Fort Collins market report. Below you
will find data compiled from IRES InfoSparks Market Reports–both for detached
and attached residential sales in Fort Collins–and a few new listings from the
month worth checking out.
Detached Homes Report
With cooler weather setting in for the
fall, we’re beginning to see fewer listings in Fort Collins. However, don’t let
this fool you into thinking the market is cooling down. Buyers
are more motivated than ever to buy before winter which we can see in last
month’s increase in dollar volume over the previous month. In fact, sellers
last month were able to get an average $207 per square foot which is up from $201
in July, and almost 10% from the same time last year!
If you’ve been considering selling, now just might be the best time to do so.
Attached Homes Report
Similarly to detached homes, we are seeing a slowdown in listings for attached homes listed in Fort Collins. Despite a slight drop compared to the same time last year, the average price per square foot for attached homes in Fort Collins is up from last month’s average of $215. This means sellers are maintaining and even gaining value despite the move into fall.
